Help refugees!!!

Dear Mr Key,

Hello. Ollie and I are 10 years old and we go to Springston School in Christchurch. We think that we should take more refugees in New Zealand. We should take at least one every three days. This would help  refugees get away from their past and make a new start in New Zealand. This would also help other countries that take a lot of refugees.

Once the refugees get to New Zealand they need shelter even if it’s just a tent. If it’s a house it doesn’t have to be anything too posh. If a refugee family has with children (or child) over five, someone needs to get them a school where they can learn and feel safe.

We are lucky to live in New Zealand  because we have most our needs. New Zealand is a small country but that does not mean we can't invite more refugees. Olle.W and I want to take action by donating to help the refugees but you are the only one who can make a major change.
